Director, Healthcare Services (RN)

Remote -- Massachusetts Region | Healthcare Leadership

I'm currently partnering with a major healthcare organisation looking to appoint a Director of Healthcare Services to lead multidisciplinary clinical and operational teams across care management, utilisation management and healthcare delivery programmes.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader with managed care expertise who enjoys driving operational excellence, leading clinical teams and improving healthcare outcomes within a large and highly collaborative environment.

The role offers remote flexibility, however candidates must reside in Massachusetts or a neighbouring state.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading multidisciplinary healthcare services teams across care management, utilisation management and related programmes
  • Driving integrated care coordination and operational improvement initiatives
  • Developing and implementing clinical and non-clinical operational protocols
  • Supporting strategic healthcare service planning and programme delivery
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with senior leadership and operational stakeholders
  • Managing staffing, operational performance and programme development activities
  • Leading quality assurance, auditing and process improvement initiatives
  • Mentoring and developing healthcare leadership teams
  • Supporting enterprise-wide healthcare services standardisation and best practice

What they're looking for:

  • 8+ years' healthcare experience
  • 5+ years' managed care experience
  • 3+ years' healthcare leadership or management experience
  • Active RN, LPN, LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or equivalent clinical licensure
  • Strong operational leadership and change management capability
  • Experience working within healthcare regulations and compliance frameworks
  • Strong communication, analytical and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead within highly matrixed healthcare environments

Preferred experience:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) background
  • Medicaid or Medicare population experience
  • Clinical care management experience
  • CCM, CPHM or CPHQ certifications beneficial
