I'm currently recruiting for a Director, Healthcare Services opportunity with a major healthcare organisation supporting large-scale care management and healthcare delivery programmes.

This is a senior leadership role for an experienced healthcare management professional with strong managed care experience who is passionate about improving clinical outcomes, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving operational excellence across healthcare services.

The position offers remote flexibility, although candidates must reside in Massachusetts or a neighbouring state.

What you'll be doing

• Leading multidisciplinary healthcare services teams across functions including:
  • Care Management
  • Utilisation Management
  • Care Transitions
  • Behavioural Health
  • Long-Term Services & Supports (LTSS)
• Developing and implementing care coordination and healthcare service strategies
• Supporting integrated, proactive member care delivery across the continuum
• Collaborating with senior leadership on operational planning and strategic initiatives
• Leading process improvement, auditing and quality initiatives
• Developing and mentoring healthcare services leadership teams
• Driving cross-functional collaboration across highly matrixed healthcare environments
• Supporting regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness across programmes

What they're looking for

• 8 years' healthcare experience
• 5 years' managed care experience within areas such as:
  • Care Management
  • Utilisation Management
  • Care Transitions
  • Behavioural Health
  • LTSS
• 3 years' healthcare leadership or management experience
• Active RN licence strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, compliance and care delivery models
• Experience working within state, federal and third-party healthcare regulations
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead through change and operational transformation

Additional experience of interest

• Medicaid or Medicare population experience
• Certified Case Manager (CCM)
• CPHM or CPHQ certification
• Clinical care delivery background
• Experience within highly matrixed healthcare organisations
