Job Overview
Omada Health is hiring a Clinical Specialist -- Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES) for a full-time remote position to staff our diabetes, hypertension, GLP-1, and cholesterol programs. Your role will be to guide members through our online program and deliver the highest quality self-management education. You will be fully supported by our online platform, which includes a detailed curriculum and technology to help members track their progress. You will leverage this cutting-edge platform to monitor blood glucose, blood pressure, labs, and health maintenance appointments. You'll strategically counsel members through the Omada program, using data science to inform outreach methods during moments that matter. You will serve as a leader in cardiometabolic care within a rapidly growing digital care coaching practice through direct member care.
About You
You have a current certification as a CDCES with experience and/or passion for diabetes and cardiovascular health. You are a strong advocate for patients and clinical staff. You recognize the limitations of our current ambulatory care environment and want to be part of delivering care in a new way. You have experience in diabetes, hypertension, GLP-1, and hyperlipidemia education and management. You enjoy preventive and/or ambulatory care, specifically patient education in a non-acute care environment.
Key Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- Active, unrestricted Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES) certification through the Certification Board for Diabetes Care and Education (CBDCE)
- Minimum of 1 year professional experience as a CDCES or at least 3 years of experience in the field of diabetes
- Active, unrestricted Registered Dietitian (RDN or RD) or Registered Nurse (RN) certification with 5 years of experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of or experience with blood glucose interpretation utilizing CGM technology
- Available to work full-time
- Stellar written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a constantly changing environment

Bonus Points For

Salary Ranges
- California, New York State and Washington State: $82,800 - $103,500*
- Colorado: $79,200 - $99,000*
*Base compensation ranges. Other states may vary. This role is also eligible for participation in annual cash bonus. The actual offer is determined by factors such as skills, experience, and business considerations.
