Role Overview

We are looking for a Video Post-Production & Editing Specialist to support our brand and marketing agency's content efforts. This is an exciting opportunity to join a creative, high-standards team where your execution skills and creative judgment directly contribute to building demand and business momentum for founders, executives, and growing B2B brands.

In this role, you will work closely with the founder to shape how ideas land in the world through well-edited, well-paced, and platform-optimized video content.

  • Location: Remote (Preferably based in the Philippines)
  • Job Type: Part-time contractor, approximately 15 hours per week, with potential to increase.

Scope of Work

Video Editing & Post-Production

  • Edit long-form and short-form video content from raw footage into polished, professional outputs.
  • Create platform-native social clips optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Support podcast production through video edits, cut-downs, and visual consistency.
  • Prepare video assets for PR, events, presentations, and thought-leadership use.
  • Build strong hooks, pacing, retention, and clear CTAs appropriate to each platform.
  • Create multiple versions of videos for testing when needed.
  • Source stock footage, sound effects, and music when required.
  • Deliver clean, organized exports on time and to spec.
  • Use AI tools to speed up captions, cleanup, and enhancement workflows.

Content Judgment & Storytelling

  • Identify strong moments, hooks, and sound bites worth clipping and amplifying.
  • Understand brand positioning and messaging to make smart editorial decisions.
  • Translate long-form conversations into clear, engaging short-form content.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the founder and marketing strategists to align edits with content goals.
  • Incorporate feedback efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and timelines with consistency and reliability.

Requirements

  • 3 years of professional video editing and post-production experience.
  • Experience working with B2B brands, with exposure to B2C brands and/or influencers.
  • Strong understanding of conversion-oriented, performance-driven editing for social platforms.
  • Familiarity with performance metrics such as watch time, retention, CTR, and engagement.
  • High attention to detail and pride in producing polished work.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
  • Reliable computer and stable internet connection.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience with motion graphics or simple animations.
  • Experience adding captions and formatting videos for social platforms.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS, professional services, or founder-led brands.
  • Comfort working from creative briefs.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Rate: $6 USD per hour, paid bi-weekly.
