The Company
Our client is a global Private Equity firm based in Boston. The firm invests in all types of private equity funds, including venture capital and leveraged buyout funds in addition to directly in operating companies.

The Role
Our client is seeking a Quantitative Data Engineer to help produce innovative applications that create a competitive advantage for our client. This engineer will contribute to this effort through their focus on source data, data analysis and data quality as well as process automation.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated ability in Data Engineering and Analysis
- Proven experience with data-centric testing and deployment of FinTech based applications, data analysis, data pipelines and ETL for large datasets
- Proficiency in MSSQL or equivalent SQL RDBMS
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with DBT and Azure Data Factory and Pipelines
- Experience with MS Synapse and Snowflake desired
- Familiarity working in a scrum/agile SDLC environment
- Familiarity with private equity financial data
- Preferred but not vital: Business Intelligence and experience in Analytics applications
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- 3-5 Years of Data Engineering experience in the investment management or FinTech industry is preferred
