What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide confidential executive-level administrative support to the Assistant Superintendent
  • Manage the Assistant Superintendent's calendar, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Coordinate statewide meetings, conferences, and professional development sessions
  • Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for new employees
  • Serve as a liaison between the Assistant Superintendent and various stakeholders

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible administrative experience, preferably in a public sector organization
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience creating, formatting, and proofreading correspondence and documents
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience supervising or leading others towards shared goals
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Ability to independently conduct research and respond to inquiries

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communication, or related field
  • Experience supporting executive leadership staff
  • Strong knowledge of state administrative rules and regulations
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational skills
  • Proactive communication skills with a solution-oriented approach
