OVERVIEW
At Orion, we are seeking a Healthcare Program Manager with revenue cycle experience in the healthcare environments. This opportunity will lead complex Healthcare IT programs focused on prior authorization automation, improving integration between providers and payers and reducing administrative burden across the revenue cycle.
OPPORTUNITY
12-month contract with extension; Fully Remote (U.S. -- All Time Zones)
SALARY
$145,000 -- $160,000 W2 contract plus benefits
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver programs across scope, schedule, budget, and quality constraints
- Lead cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects
- Manage risks, issues, budgets, and program execution
- Drive stakeholder alignment across clinical, IT, and payer teams
- Lead vendor partnerships (such as Humata)
- Drive adoption of new workflows and systems
KEY EXPERIENCE
- 5--7 years Healthcare IT Program Management experience
- Revenue Cycle experience required
- Prior Authorization workflow knowledge
- Experience leading large, cross-functional programs
- Strong stakeholder and executive communication skills
TECHNICAL & DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Prior Authorization & Utilization Management workflows
- HL7 FHIR & interoperability frameworks (e.g., Da Vinci guides)
- EDI transactions (e.g., X12 278)
- EHR integrations (Epic, Cerner)
REGULATORY KNOWLEDGE
- CMS prior authorization mandates
- HIPAA / PHI compliance
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree (technical field preferred)
- PMP / PMI certification preferred
INTERVIEW PROCESS
- Quick turnaround: preliminary interview followed by team interview on phone and Google Meets.
- Typically, one round with the hiring manager, joined by the team (virtual interview), possibly two rounds if necessary.
