Location

Hybrid role based in Bedminster, NJ, with three days on-site per week.

Note

Must have 3+ years' experience in defense litigation support and strong familiarity with medical malpractice case management. Paralegal certificate or Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client cases from inception through trial and closing
  • Perform daily time entry billing and maintain accurate records
  • Obtain, review, analyze, and summarize documents, including medical and financial records
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness files
  • Manage court docket calendars and ensure deadlines are met
  • Create status reports and provide updates to attorneys and clients
  • Assist attorneys with legal research and case preparation
  • Support attorneys in all aspects of defense litigation

Qualifications

  • 3+ years' defense litigation paralegal experience
  • Paralegal certificate from ABA-approved program or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience reviewing and obtaining medical records
  • Proficiency with Lexis+ and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
  • Effective communication with attorneys, staff, clients, and court personnel
