About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sales Consultant with a strong background in the US Healthcare IT industry to drive business development, lead generation, and client acquisition initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience selling Healthcare IT services, healthcare staffing, EMR/EHR solutions, telehealth platforms, medical billing services, or healthcare SaaS products in the US market. This role requires excellent communication skills, consultative selling expertise, and the ability to build strong client relationships within the healthcare ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities within the US Healthcare IT market
- Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email campaigns, cold calling, networking, and referrals
- Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, clinics, healthcare startups, and healthcare technology companies
- Understand client requirements and recommend suitable Healthcare IT solutions and services
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls, presentations, demos, and client meetings
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Collaborate with internal technical and delivery teams for proposals and solution discussions
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, and sales reporting
- Achieve monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets
- Stay updated on US healthcare industry trends, compliance requirements, and technology advancements
Process Improvement & Strategic Contribution
- Evaluate current sales processes, workflows, and team performance to identify operational gaps
- Analyze lead generation funnels, conversion metrics, and client engagement processes
- Recommend improvements to sales strategies, outreach methods, and client acquisition efforts
- Identify CRM, reporting, and pipeline management inefficiencies and suggest optimizations
- Provide actionable insights on market positioning and sales enablement practices
- Collaborate with leadership to improve overall sales operations and team productivity
- Recommend training initiatives, KPIs, reporting structures, and accountability frameworks
- Suggest automation tools and workflow improvements to support scalable business growth
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in US Healthcare IT sales, business development, or IT services sales
- Strong understanding of the US healthcare ecosystem and healthcare technology landscape
- Experience selling one or more of the following:
- EMR/EHR solutions
- Telehealth platforms
- Medical billing / RCM services
- Healthcare staffing solutions
- Healthcare SaaS products
- Custom Healthcare Software Development Services
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Hands-on experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho CRM
- Strong lead generation and consultative selling experience
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Comfortable working during US business hours
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Experience improving sales processes and operational efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing network within the US healthcare industry
- Experience working with healthcare providers, hospitals, or healthcare startups
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare workflows
- Prior experience in Healthcare IT consulting or technology services sales preferred
