Location: Florence, KY 41042 (Hybrid)

Salary: $44,000 -- $55,000 (based on experience) Full-time benefits

Schedule: Monday--Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM

Work Model: Hybrid (Work from Home on Mondays & Fridays, Onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)

Job Summary

The Customer Service Specialist plays a critical role in managing customer orders, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely, accurate service delivery. This position serves as a key liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal departments to efficiently meet customer needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders, including order entry and shipment scheduling
  • Coordinate order fulfillment between manufacturing and customers
  • Act as a liaison between internal departments and external customers or sales representatives
  • Support assigned territories by handling inquiries related to pricing, delivery timelines, and terms
  • Collaborate with sales, shipping, purchasing, and finance teams to ensure timely service
  • Communicate with customers via phone, email, and other channels
  • Recommend appropriate products based on customer needs and escalate complex issues when necessary
  • Perform administrative tasks such as document scanning, indexing, and RMA processing
  • Track order status and proactively communicate delays, backorders, or substitutions
  • Address customer complaints and coordinate resolutions with relevant teams
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing system

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, or related field (preferred)
  • 1--3 years of customer service experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain professional in high-pressure situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple systems
