This is a Principal Engineer (Director Level) role focusing 70-80% on front-end development and 20-30% on back-end expertise. We are seeking an innovative leader to drive application architecture, design, and delivery of next-generation digital solutions, including reporting and financial tools, leveraging AI across major cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute IT strategy in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders to define strategy, prioritization, and execution.
  • Establish epics and initiatives aligned with product roadmaps.
  • Develop and maintain roadmaps for scalable technical solutions.
  • Leverage performance data to drive continuous improvement.
  • Champion agile mindsets and build high-performing engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience, including architecture and delivery of cloud-native platforms.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in senior/principal/architect roles with cloud technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure, GKE, Google DBs).
  • Strong full-stack development experience.
  • Proficiency in front-end development (Angular, React, TypeScript).
  • Experience building back-end functionality (Python, API Forge, REST API, Java).
  • Experience in Scrum/Agile delivery and CI/CD.
  • Expertise in API-first and microservices architectures.
  • Proven experience designing distributed systems at scale.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI/GenAI capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare or regulated-industry platforms.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data, privacy, and compliance.
  • Exposure to MLOps, AI lifecycle management, and identity/security architectures.
  • Experience with AI technologies (OpenAI, Gemini, Agentic AI).
  • Experience with cloud networking and firewall implementation.

  • Lead design reviews and set architecture standards.
  • Champion API-first, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
  • Ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Full-Stack Engineering

  • Design end-to-end solutions across UI, backend, and data layers.
  • Build modern web applications and scalable services.

AI & Intelligent Solutions

  • Integrate AI/ML and Generative AI into digital experiences.
  • Work with LLM APIs, prompt orchestration, and AI service frameworks.

Platform Engineering & Integrations

  • Build shared platforms, SDKs, and reusable services.
  • Lead enterprise integrations using APIs, messaging, and event streaming.

API & Integration Stack

  • REST, GraphQL (Apollo Federation), gRPC.
  • Event-driven architecture, Kafka.

Cloud & DevOps

  • AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Equivalent practical experience will be considered.
