Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a 900+ employee public biotech reagents innovator with a global footprint across 12 cities in North America, Europe and Asia. Known for a collaborative, innovation-driven, quality-obsessed culture, they partner with leading biopharma companies to accelerate drug discovery through premium recombinant proteins, antibodies and assay kits.

As Technical Sales Specialist / Field Application Scientist -- Cellular Immunotherapy & Gene Editing, you will support territory growth by driving a 10% year-over-year revenue increase across your assigned accounts. You'll qualify and manage 30+ active research groups in the PA region, partnering with senior sales and applications teams to showcase our client's superior technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage commercial activities through customer-facing visits, presentations, phone calls and e-mails as appropriate.
  • Work with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute territory sales plans.
  • Extend and develop relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Understand and communicate technical information to customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Development, Technical Support, and other internal teams.
  • Attend tradeshows, association meetings, and networking events as necessary.
  • Travel within the territory 40-50% of the time.
  • Undertake other projects or responsibilities as may be required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related life-science field
  • 2+ years of sales or applications support experience in cellular immunotherapy or gene-editing reagents/instruments
  • Hands-on expertise with CAR-T cell assays, CRISPR/Cas gene-editing workflows and biophysical characterization techniques
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales or activity metrics in a research-driven environment
  • Strong communication and consultative selling skills

  • Market-competitive base salary of $80,000--$100,000 (DOE) plus uncapped commission tied to account growth
