Senior Restaurant Accountant

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage multiple hospitality clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and financial reporting specific to the restaurant industry. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Duties

• Manage multiple client accounts including bookkeeping, financial reporting, payroll and sales tax
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial reports
• Communicate with clients on a timely basis

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in restaurant/hospitality accounting
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting principles
• Expert Level proficiency with accounting software applications - QuickBooks Online
• Experience with restaurant specific software recommended - MarginEdge, Craftable, Toast, Square
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred

• Monday to Friday
• Expect to work more hours the first two weeks of the month and have more time off the second half of each month
• Must be available during normal business hours for client engagement
• Position will start at 20-25 hours per week but could become full time, if desired.
