This is a full-time remote role.

What You'll Do

Strategy & Goal Setting

  • Develop and communicate the strategic direction and goals of the practice in alignment with broader organizational objectives.
  • Create and execute on initiatives that move the practice forward — and adjust course when the market demands it.
  • Partner with leadership to build annual OKRs and drive accountability toward achieving them.

Team Leadership

  • Manage and mentor Practice Managers who oversee project managers, consultants, solution architects, developers, and team leads.
  • Provide guidance and support across the practice as a whole, fostering a high-performance, people-first culture.
  • Monitor and optimize team utilization to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Methodology & Best Practices

  • Set the direction for practice methodologies, ensuring the team operates consistently and at a high standard.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging best practices to keep the practice competitive and innovative.

Escalation & Issue Resolution

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client and project issues — bringing calm, clarity, and resolution when it matters most.

Talent & Skillset Development

  • Identify skill gaps within the team and build strategies for training, upskilling, and long-term development.

SOW Review & Commercial Management

  • Review Statements of Work to ensure alignment with practice goals.
  • Negotiate credits and manage client expectations to protect both satisfaction and profitability.

Financial Ownership

  • Own the financial performance of the practice — including revenue targets, utilization goals, profitability, and cost management.

Tooling & Application Decisions

  • Contribute to decisions around the tools and applications that support practice operations, with an eye toward efficiency and scalability.

What They're Looking For

Required

  • Proven leadership experience in a consulting practice, professional services firm, or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies and how they apply in a fast-moving consulting context.
  • Financial acumen — comfortable owning a P&L, managing utilization targets, and driving revenue goals.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams.
  • Track record of building and executing strategic plans that deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt as priorities shift.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a Microsoft Dynamics or ERP consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with SOW development, credit negotiations, and professional services commercial models.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership on OKR frameworks and organizational planning.
