Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated, entrepreneurial personality to build and lead our sales activities in the United States. This position focuses exclusively on the US market and can be performed remotely from locations such as Boston or California. You will report directly to the Managing Director USA and the Global Sales Director in Germany.
- Overall responsibility for the development of the US market: building and expanding direct customer relationships, managing key accounts, and, if applicable, establishing sales partner networks
- Identification and pursuit of new business opportunities with industrial and research customers
- Technical consulting and application-specific support for analytical instruments (e.g., Field-Flow Fractionation, chromatography, light scattering)
- Preparation of quotations, contract negotiations, and successful closing of sales processes
- Close collaboration with product management, application teams, and marketing within the USA
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in natural sciences, engineering, business administration, or comparable experience in technical sales
- Several years of experience in direct technical sales of complex or scientific products, preferably in the field of analytical instrumentation or laboratory equipment
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
- Willingness to travel within the USA for customer visits and conferences
