Salary Range: $65,000 - $80,000 base salary + annual bonus potential.
Location: 100% remote in the United States. Potbelly does not support remote work from Alaska, California, and Hawaii.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HRIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This includes monitoring system operations, daily maintenance, data exchange, ensuring data integrity, developing reports, and creating user-friendly tools.
Responsibilities:
- Support day-to-day HRIS operations, including system configuration, data integrity, and troubleshooting.
- Act as a point of contact for HRIS inquiries, providing timely resolutions or escalating issues.
- Participate in HRIS business requirements analysis, system testing, and change management for implementations, upgrades, and enhancements.
- Create and maintain various reports and analytics for stakeholders.
- Partner to build and enhance HR and people analytics tools for impactful insights.
- Develop and update system use documentation for practitioners and end-users.
- Handle security changes, new user setups, and password resets.
- Resolve HRIS system issues and act as a subject matter expert for HRIS, Self Service, and other HR systems (e.g., ATS, engagement surveys).
- Conduct regular audits and data checks to identify and resolve data inconsistencies.
- Participate in efforts to improve data integrity and standardize processes.
- Test new system functionality and integrations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand system requirements and develop solutions.
- Configure ADP Manager and Employee Self Service workflows and communications.
- Assist with maintaining electronic employee personnel files according to guidelines.
- Assist with the administration of unemployment inquiries and hearings.
Experience and Education:
- High School degree required; College coursework preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience with an HRIS system in a back-up administrator or super user role.
- 1-2 years of report writing experience using report writing applications.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel; some knowledge of PowerPoint.
