Job Summary
Potbelly Sandwich Shop is seeking a Real Estate Manager to join our Support Center team. This is a 100% remote position within the United States, with a strong preference for candidates residing in the Midwest. Due to regulatory requirements, remote work is not supported from Alaska, California, or Hawaii.

General Description
In this multifaceted role, you will collaborate closely with the Head of Real Estate to enhance analysis, negotiations, processes, and organizational efficiency. You will serve as a consultant and collaborator across diverse departments, identify and pursue opportunities, and lead negotiations aligned with strategic objectives. This role offers immersion in various dimensions of a rapidly expanding enterprise, including airport and military development, real estate franchising, and other ventures.
Essential Functions
- Conduct comprehensive analyses of real estate transactions.
- Support the Head of Real Estate in negotiation strategies, process refinement, and organizational optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on real estate matters.
- Proactively identify and capitalize on real estate opportunities aligned with corporate strategies.
- Lead negotiations with external parties to safeguard company interests.
- Develop expertise in franchise real estate and other evolving business areas.

Essential Physical Functions
- Ability to work 45-55 hours per week.
- Proficiency in data entry and manipulation.
- Strong problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving field issues.
- Effective communication via text, phone, email, and in-person.
- Ability to participate in and conduct presentations (virtual or in-person).
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- 5 years of experience working with franchisees and brokers to identify, negotiate, and secure real estate sites.
- Proven track record in real estate analysis and negotiations.
- Proficiency in modern data analysis tools and software.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Innovative mindset.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Adaptable and eager to learn about diverse business areas.
Working Conditions
