Job Summary
Our direct, Fortune 100 client is seeking a REMOTE Agile Delivery Owner / Scrum Master for a long-term, extendable contract. You will utilize agile practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives, focusing on maximizing business value and optimizing flow. This role requires effective coordination within and across teams, ensuring transparency on delivery progress for key stakeholders. The position is fully remote but follows an ET schedule.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Maximize business value and optimize flow by guiding agile teams toward their goals.
- Ensure effective coordination within and across teams, providing transparency on delivery progress to key stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identify and address risks, and promote collaboration and trust across teams.
- Support the adoption and improvement of agile methodologies, enhancing the organization's agile capabilities.
- Collaborate and plan work using Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Develop and socialize data/metrics from ADO to enhance delivery success.
- Facilitate team ceremonies, including daily scrum, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint reviews.
Essential Skills
- Strong communication, people leadership, and collaboration skills, working effectively with both IT and Business stakeholders.
- Ability to review staffing plans and proactively address staffing needs in partnership with IT Managers/Resource Managers.
- Skill in quickly mitigating issues and escalating larger concerns to program leadership.
- Experience assisting teams with agile maturity.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, including coaching team members on best practices.
- Ability to lead teams through prioritization of new requirements and resolution of defects found during testing.
- Courage to ask questions and push back on requests misaligned with team goals.
- REQUIRED ACTIVE Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and/or Professional Scrum Master I.

- Familiarity with tools such as AgilePlace and GitHub.
- Familiarity with Commercial Lines insurance/policies.
