About the role
We are seeking a Design Manager to lead and scale a growing Product Design organization across multiple customer-facing experiences.
This role combines hands-on product design leadership with people management, mentorship, and strategic cross-functional collaboration. You will lead a team of designers while helping shape the future direction of a large-scale consumer platform across web, iOS, and Android. The successful candidate will drive design quality, strengthen design systems, improve team processes, and foster a customer-centric design culture throughout the organization. This position is ideal for an experienced product design leader who combines exceptional design craft with strong systems thinking, leadership capability, and a passion for building high-performing teams.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of Product Design experience
- 2+ years leading, managing, or mentoring designers
- Proven experience delivering complex consumer-facing digital products across mobile and web
- Strong portfolio demonstrating UX, visual design, interaction design, systems thinking, and strategic problem solving
- Expertise with Figma and modern product design workflows
- Deep understanding of design systems, accessibility standards, responsive design, and mobile UX best practices
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments.
Preferred Experience
- Background designing consumer, marketplace, ecommerce, fintech, subscription, or digital platform products
- Experience scaling design systems across teams and products
- Strong understanding of balancing brand expression with usability and customer experience
- Experience working within high-growth or startup environments
- Exposure to user research programs, experimentation, and data-informed product development
- Interest in emerging AI technologies and their application within product development
- Ability to operate effectively across both strategic and hands-on design work.
