📍 100% Remote | Contract Opportunity

We're hiring a senior-level DevOps Engineer / Architect to help drive cloud automation, platform engineering, and Kubernetes modernization initiatives within a large-scale infrastructure environment. This is a highly hands-on architecture role focused on designing, automating, and operating scalable infrastructure across cloud and backend systems --- not a pure development position.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building secure, automation-first infrastructure and has deep experience architecting Kubernetes and Infrastructure-as-Code environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

What You'll Be Doing

• Architect and scale Kubernetes environments across multi-cloud infrastructure
• Design and modernize Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks using Terraform and Terragrunt
• Lead cloud automation and platform engineering initiatives focused on scalability, security, and reliability
• Build and standardize CI/CD and GitOps workflows across multiple environments
• Design cross-account and cross-cloud deployment strategies with strong RBAC and least-privilege security models
• Collaborate closely with DevOps and engineering teams to streamline infrastructure operations and deployments
• Reduce operational complexity through automation, reusable infrastructure patterns, and DRY principles

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in DevOps architecture and cloud infrastructure engineering
• Deep hands-on Kubernetes experience in production environments
• Expertise with Terraform and modern IaC methodologies
• Experience building scalable multi-cloud infrastructure solutions
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, automation, and cloud security best practices
• Ability to operate across both architecture strategy and hands-on implementation
• Excellent troubleshooting and systems-thinking mindset
