Lead AI Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead AI Engineer for a major insurance firm.

This role is pivotal in building internal AI engineering capabilities and driving adoption while aligning with governance, security, and business objectives.

Employment Details

This is a contract role and can be fully remote with preference to candidates located in NY/NJ/PA.

Required Skills and Experience

• More than 8 years of engineering experience, with demonstrated work in AI/ML or advanced automation.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Copilot and Power Platform.
• Experience with API-based integrations and distributed system design.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, security, and data protection principles.
• Experience with LLM platforms (e.g., Anthropic Claude or similar) preferred.
