Clinical Document Improvement Specialist

Job Title: CDI Specialist

Location:

• Local; Candidates MUST reside in NY or the tristate area

Remote/Hybrid Options:

• Remote

Schedule:

• 5x8; 8 AM - 4 PM EST

Contract Details:

• Duration: 27 Weeks
• Rate: $55-60 per hour W2

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of recent hospital acute care experience and/or verifiable Documentation Improvement experience (required).
• Experience in an EMR environment (required).
• Knowledge of Regulatory & 3rd Party requirements as they relate to Documentation Improvement/Rehabilitation Improvement (required).
• RN, NP, PA, or trained Physician background (required).
• Bachelor's degree (required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3M Encoder (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (preferred).
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (preferred).

Certifications:

• CCDS certified (preferred).
