About the Role
As a Regional People & Culture Business Partner, you will partner with the Head of Sales (HOS) and P&C colleagues across the region to provide subject matter expertise, consultative services, and trusted advice. You will influence and enable the delivery of business strategy through an amazing colleague and customer experience. As a leader, you will develop Area P&C Business Partners to embed people practices that drive business strategy and high-performing teams.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Attraction, Engagement, and Retention
- Review and challenge recruitment strategies for stores.
- Partner with HOS and COEs to address market attraction and retention challenges.
- Support recruitment and assessment for senior retail roles.
- Drive engagement survey results and action plans.
- Embed company engagement and well-being initiatives.
- Protect and evolve the Primark culture.
People Performance, Capability, and Potential
- Provide coaching to Retail Leaders and Area P&C BPs on performance management.
- Develop Area P&C BPs on their impact and P&C strategy delivery.
- Drive the Make Your Primark (MYP) process and completion rates.
- Lead objective calibration processes for Retail Management roles.
- Develop succession and talent pipeline plans.
Colleague Relations
- Coach and develop Area P&C BPs and HOS on complex colleague relations matters.
- Liaise with the CR COE team and external legal counsel.
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture and progressive CR environment.
Operational Standards, Reporting, and Governance
- Ensure governance of people policy, process, and practice.
- Review regulatory, legal, compliance, and audit standards.
- Analyze store KPI performance and provide insights for intervention.
Business Impact and Change Agent
- Drive local implementation of global ways of working.
- Lead organizational change projects.
- Use data and insights to influence decision-making.
- Develop external networks for leading-edge P&C knowledge.
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of professional experience, including 2+ years in a multi-management HR role (retail sector preferred).
- Previous line management experience.
- Strategic thinker capable of navigating ambiguity.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading teams through change and transformation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen.
Location and Logistics
- Location: Regional role based out of Chicago, Dallas, or Sunrise. Covers Midwest, Southeast, and Texas.
- Hybrid Working: Primarily on-site (minimum 4 days per week).
- Travel: Approximately 30-40% travel, including to US Headquarters in Boston.
- Salary Range: $135,000 -- $205,000
