Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Developer with strong production backend experience to join a fast-growing, AI-native fintech company building a modern API-first payments platform.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in the following areas:

  • Node.js backend development
  • REST API architecture
  • PostgreSQL schema design
  • AWS cloud services
  • Event-driven systems

Strong experience with the following is required:

  • AWS Lambda, RDS, SQS, API Gateway
  • CI/CD automation
  • OpenAPI/Swagger documentation
  • Production observability

Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  1. Build and maintain production-grade Node.js backend services.
  2. Develop ACH payment workflows.
  3. Design asynchronous event-driven processing systems.
  4. Create financial data models with strong integrity and failure handling.

Location

Remote in Austin, Texas (Requires future Hybrid work).
