What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Enter and verify claims information, supporting documentation, and healthcare records with high accuracy
- Review claims forms and related documents to ensure completeness and compliance with established procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive healthcare and member information
- Meet established productivity, quality, and accuracy standards while managing daily workloads
- Utilize multiple systems and Microsoft Office applications to support claims processing
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two years of experience in data entry, administrative support, claims processing, healthcare operations, or a related field
- Strong typing and data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments in a remote environment
