About The Role

This role is ideal for individuals passionate about building user-centric products that simplify complex challenges. As one of the initial engineering hires, you will play a key role in shaping both the product and the engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own our core product, built with React/Typescript, enabling users to create complex and configurable authentication experiences. This includes responsibility for both the customer-facing interface and the underlying authentication mechanisms.
• Contribute to our backend, primarily written in Rust with supporting scripts in Python.
• Create embeddable, configurable UIs and component libraries for our customers' products, with opportunities for innovation and creating delightful user experiences.
• Build client libraries for various frameworks such as React, React Native, Vue, and Svelte.
• Engage with emerging authentication standards, including biometric support.
• Innovate and contribute ideas for additional features beyond authentication, such as analytics or subscription management, aligning with our company's support for employee-driven initiatives.
• Collaborate with the DevRel team to gather user insights and requirements.

What We Look For

• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Proven ability to work independently and effectively within small teams.
• A strong drive to build products that resonate with customers.
• Capacity for rapid yet careful execution.
• Prior experience with authentication or security is beneficial but not required.
