Manager PMO - Remote

The Services Engineering Manager for Endpoint Services is a strategic delivery leader responsible for orchestrating complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives across endpoint computing, data platforms, mobile services, and enterprise print. This role ensures that Endpoint Services deliver measurable outcomes through disciplined program execution, agile delivery, and strong PMO practices.

Operating in a highly matrixed healthcare environment, this leader partners closely with Service Engineers, software engineers, architects, product owners, clinical stakeholders, and business leaders to translate strategy into executable roadmaps, sprint plans, and results. The role balances speed, quality, and safety in an always‑on clinical environment.

This position requires a leader who can thrive in ambiguity, bring structure where it does not exist, and coach teams toward agile maturity---while ensuring programs stay aligned to caregiver experience, operational stability, and enterprise priorities.

Program & Portfolio Leadership

  • Own the endpoint services program portfolio, spanning data, endpoints, mobile, and print services.
  • Translate enterprise and business strategy into clear, prioritized roadmaps with defined outcomes and success metrics.
  • Manage cross‑program dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Provide executive‑ready reporting on progress, risks, financials, and outcomes.

Agile Delivery & Sprint Management

  • Lead delivery using Agile and hybrid Agile/PMO models, ensuring consistent execution across sprint‑based teams.
  • Partner with product owners and engineering leaders to plan and manage:
    • Sprint goals and backlogs
    • Program increments
    • Release milestones
  • Ensure teams are delivering value incrementally while maintaining operational stability.
  • Drive continuous improvement in sprint predictability, throughput, and delivery confidence.

Governance, Planning & Execution

  • Establish and maintain program governance, including intake, prioritization, sequencing, and change management.
  • Develop and manage integrated plans addressing scope, timeline, dependencies, and resourcing.
  • Proactively identify delivery risks and lead mitigation strategies before they impact caregivers or patients.
  • Ensure alignment between operational work, technical debt, and strategic initiatives.

Cross‑Functional & Clinical Partnership

  • Act as the primary coordination point between Endpoint Services, clinical operations, IS partners, and vendors.
  • Translate clinical and business needs into executable program plans.
  • Ensure delivery decisions consider caregiver workflows, patient care impact, and regulatory constraints.

Leadership, Coaching & PMO Maturity

  • Serve as a leader and coach, raising the bar on program management discipline and agile practices.
  • Mentor program managers and delivery leads across Endpoint Services.
  • Drive consistency in planning artifacts, reporting, and execution standards.
  • Bring clarity, accountability, and momentum to complex, ambiguous initiatives.

Essential for success

  • Significant experience leading large‑scale programs in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Strong background in Agile delivery, including sprint‑based execution and roadmap planning.
  • Experience managing programs that span infrastructure, software, and service operations.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
  • Comfort operating in highly regulated or mission‑critical environments.
