Company: Nordic Business Design LLC, DBA Puustelli North America

Location: Twin Cities, Minnesota (hybrid role with regular in-person meetings, partner visits, visits to our Otsego warehouse, job sites, and occasional trade shows)

Type: Part-Time (approximately 8--24 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience, capabilities, and fit for the role

Growth Path: Potential to grow into a full-time role

The Story

For more than 100 years, the Finnish family-owned company Puustelli Group has helped people create kitchens that feel personal, functional, and timeless. Today, Puustelli kitchens can be found around the world --- including the home of Andrew Zimmern --- and the products have received multiple international design and innovation awards along the way.

Now, Puustelli North America is building the next chapter by introducing Puustelli® SmartFrame™ to the North American market. We are creating a partner-focused ecosystem that combines Nordic product innovation with strong local cabinet professionals across the U.S.

The Role

This is an early foundational role within Puustelli North America. You will work directly with the founder and help shape the systems, partnerships, content, and ways of working that define the next phase of the business.

This is not a traditional marketing role. You will help grow a new category of cabinetry while supporting partners, creating scalable marketing systems, and helping tell the Puustelli SmartFrame story across digital and real-world environments.

In This Role, You Will

  • Develop and execute social media content across Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms --- including filming, editing, publishing, and helping shape content strategy and channel growth.
  • Help partners communicate effectively about Puustelli SmartFrame while supporting joint lead generation efforts.
  • Create marketing materials, partner toolkits, landing pages, newsletters, and training materials.
  • Support the onboarding and activation of new partners.
  • Create training materials, videos, and documentation to help partners learn and use SmartFrame Studio, our proprietary design and ordering tool.
  • Participate in partner visits, installations, photo shoots, training sessions, and occasional warehouse and fulfillment support.
  • Help productize new concepts and turn complex ideas into simple communication.
  • Use AI tools daily to improve content creation, communication, workflows, and efficiency.
  • Occasionally support customer service inquiries, coordination tasks, and operational activities when needed.

Why This Role May Be Exciting to You

  • Early foundational role working directly alongside the founder to help shape the business from the ground up.
  • Opportunity to help shape a new category and partner ecosystem in North America.
  • High visibility and ownership across marketing, partnerships, systems, and operations.
  • Flexible hybrid working style focused on outcomes and initiative.
  • Opportunity for the role and responsibilities to grow significantly with the business.
  • Work with award-winning products, forward-thinking partners, and AI-first workflows.

The Environment

You will work closely with the Puustelli North America founder, our Otsego warehouse team, Puustelli Group representatives, suppliers, partners, customers, and homeowners.

This is a hands-on role that includes partner visits, exhibitions and trade shows, content creation, staging environments for marketing and training purposes, occasional warehouse and fulfillment support, and remote work. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping things move forward in real life --- not just from behind a desk.

What About AI?

We are an AI-first company. AI is part of our daily workflow across marketing, operations, product development, and communication.

Please share tangible examples of how you have used AI tools in real-world situations, projects, studies, content creation, or problem solving.

Requirements

  • Ability to begin posting content within the first week.
  • Flexibility to work approximately 8--24 hours per week.
  • Reliable transportation for visiting different locations.
  • Integrity, curiosity, adaptability, and respect for others.
  • Strong written and visual communication skills.
  • Comfortable learning and applying new software and AI tools quickly, with tangible examples of real-world AI use.
  • Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently.
  • Comfortable in a startup-to-scaleup environment where progress matters more than perfection.

What Success Looks Like (First 3--6 Months)

  1. Video, photo, and interview content created from completed partner projects and installations.
  2. New partners successfully onboarded and activated.
  3. First SmartFrame Studio training videos and support materials created.
  4. New assembly and installation materials developed based on real-world partner feedback.
  5. Existing contacts successfully converted into active partner accounts.
  6. Fast feedback loops established to improve messaging, content, workflows, and partner experience in real time.
  7. You are enjoying the process of building, learning, and helping things move forward.

How to Apply

  • Apply online at https://puustelliusa.com/careers
  • Include tangible examples of AI tool use in real-world situations.
  • Selected candidates will be asked to prepare a short 90-day success plan describing how they would approach the role.
