Reporting to the Senior Commission Manager, this position manages the comprehensive review of compensation plans for Direct and Corp Specialists, processing commission and preparing the payout summary.

The Commission Analyst closely works with cross-functional groups in executing new compensation plans as they come up and resolving issues/questions in the calculation.

Analysts are also responsible for preparing and verifying data accuracy of applicable commissions and timely delivery of reports.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Review of compensation plans and work with team managers to clarify all components
  • Review the budgets assigned by team and confirm with FP&A team
  • Create statements to calculate in compliance with compensation plans
  • Calculate and administer commission calculations (monthly, quarterly, annual special bonuses and incentives) of assigned teams and upload payroll files
  • Prepare and distribute the backup of commissions documentation
  • Prepare monthly analytical reports and dashboards to track performance metrics and compensation effectiveness
  • Process audit requests and necessary adjustments to monthly and quarterly commissions when applicable and updated reports accordingly for both sales and dealer organizations
  • Research and resolve all sales commission inquiries
  • Provide solutions for ad hoc requests and aid monthly reporting and bring to notice errors, if any
  • Maintain and audit commission data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies
  • Evaluate commission guidelines periodically and suggest improvement measures
  • Work with Project Management team on validations of various projects
  • Support system implementations or enhancements related to commission processing

Qualifications

  • 1 years' work experience in financial analysis. Exposure to sales compensation is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (reports, dashboards, pivot tables, lookups)
  • Microsoft Applications
  • Hands-on experience with various systems (Oracle is a plus)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and effective use of information and reporting systems
