Application Support Engineer (Oracle WebCenter)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Application Support Engineer to join our Software Engineering team supporting client's critical enterprise initiatives, including the "IT Reinvention Phase 1" project. In this role, you will act as a primary technical resource and "software detective," driving the resolution of software anomalies and ensuring the continuous reliability of our core business systems. This is a 100% remote position offering an opportunity to collaborate alongside high-performing teams in a dynamic, enterprise environment.

• Work Hours: 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex software errors across multiple integrated components of critical business systems.
• Act as an internal subject matter expert, delivering dynamic technical solutions across multiple cross-functional teams.
• Guide, support, and mentor immediate team members by sharing technical best practices and assisting with collaborative decisions.
• Analyze recurring technical incidents to design and implement innovative preventive measures that optimize overall system stability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dedicated professional experience in application support or software engineering.
• Expert-level proficiency and hands-on experience with Oracle WebCenter Sites and Oracle WebCenter Suite.
• Strong working proficiency with Oracle WebCenter Portal.
• Possess a completed Graduate level degree.
• Must possess a valid, active Employment Authorization Document (EAD).

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional knowledge or familiarity with Oracle EPM, IPM, and EDM platforms.
• Prior experience working within the Industrials or manufacturing sector.
• Located in or local to the Chicago area (though the role is fully remote).
