Job Summary
Corporate HR seeks an experienced Business Systems Consultant III to support the Workday Compensation implementation. The role requires a strong understanding of compensation setup, including packages, grades, plans (merit, allowance, bonus, stock), eligibility rules, wage theft notifications, and business processes within Workday HCM.

Responsibilities
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Understand and define requirements for Workday Compensation processes, including Advanced Compensation (Merit, bonus programs) and pay differential programs.
- Participate in defining and reviewing business problems, objectives, and process changes related to Compensation.
- Support Workday Compensation configuration and identify solutions during SIT testing.
- Create data flow diagrams and artifacts to support system design, development, and implementation.
- Define, contribute to, and coordinate the development and approval of test plans for Compensation processes.
- Execute and coordinate test plans, approaches, and scripts for SIT and UAT.
- Document, monitor, and coordinate the resolution of test issues.
- Evaluate risks associated with testing approaches and recommend alternative solutions.
- Collaborate with change management teams to document process changes between current systems (e.g., PeopleSoft) and Workday.
- Support deployment planning and assist with the implementation of Workday Compensation.
- Develop user stories and test core and advanced compensation processes (Merit, wage theft notifications, bonus programs).
- Support pay differential programs (allowance plans) and ensure proper configuration.
- Participate in end-to-end testing, report generation, and validation.
- Address Compensation interdependencies with other modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Time, and Absence).
- Collaborate to define new processes and contribute to go-live documentation.
Qualifications
Required Experience:
- Workday Compensation experience, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of Core and Advanced Compensation processes (Merit, bonus programs, stock plans, etc.).
- Experience with allowance plans and notifications (e.g., bilingual pay, wage theft) and their configuration in Workday.
- Strong understanding of Compensation interdependencies with other Workday modules (Core HCM, Payroll, Time, and Absence).
Additional Skills:
- Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to run Workday reports for testing and data validation.
- Experience defining/writing and executing testing user stories.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication (listening, verbal, written) skills.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Workday Absence.
Degrees, Certifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business-related discipline with at least 3 years of systems experience and a minimum of 2 years of Workday Core and Advanced Compensation experience.
- OR 5 years of system implementation experience and a minimum of 2 years of Workday Core and Advanced Compensation experience.
