Job Summary

This IT Application Specialist Senior contractor will work with several Business PMOs, the vendor, and project team members to build and configure Planview Portfolios. In this role, you will design the application for PMO requirements and assist in retiring current solutions. You will recommend global standards and configurations for scalability and ease of ongoing maintenance. Collaboration with the Enterprise Project Management Office on processes, standards, and global configurations will be essential.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate using PV Portfolios for data analysis/integrations (project recommendations for PGR and rollout), migration, and import of data.
  • Test Planview Portfolios and Portfolio connection; provide recommendations on setting up workspaces, portfolio templates, and data flow.
  • Perform reporting using Power BI and other tools.
  • Work with developers on data integration for user provisioning and resource field updates for Planview Portfolios.
  • Work with Business PMOs to gather data needs and requirements for Planview Portfolios implementation.
  • Gather information on current systems and data, including current processes and documentation of intake systems/fields.
  • Document technical specifications to maintain Planview Portfolios.
  • Collaborate during meetings to define and document requirements, evaluating the comprehensiveness, testability, and usability of requirements within the application.
  • Engage with vendors to make necessary changes to applications.
  • Provide reports and analysis to ensure application requirements are met.
  • Create, update, and maintain related application documentation.
  • Resolve moderate to complex application design and usability issues.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree or higher in an IT or Business-related discipline (such as MIS or Business Management) and a minimum of four years of related work experience in technical tool administration involving creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, and/or scripting technical tools or applications.
  • In lieu of the above, a minimum of six years of related work experience in technical tool administration involving creating, testing, configuring, updating, manipulating, and/or scripting technical tools or applications.
