Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to perform the following duties on a daily basis:
- Defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and overseeing planning and execution of the large scale implementation.
- Anticipating issues and acting proactively to address potential issues.
- Gathering and updating deliverables, project materials, project documentation, business flows, and lessons learned documents.
- Speaking about details of the project to both the business and technical teams, including clients.
- Managing cross-functional interdependencies.
- Improving processes to optimize performance and value over time.
- Providing proactive risk management and issue/problem resolution as required.
- Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with senior management.
- Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects/programs.
- Conducting analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments.
- Monitoring financials to ensure budget compliance.
- Representing project status to client and Optum leadership.
- Addressing project challenges with key client personnel and within Optum.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required.
