Job Summary

Our client is looking for a Mendix LC/NC Developer for a 100% remote 4-month contract opportunity. Must be able to work MST.

  • Location: Telecommute
  • Job Type: Contract
  • Salary: $53 - $57 per hour
  • Work Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester with dedicated Mendix experience to support a highly visible and time-critical application development initiative. Utilizing the Mendix platform, the developer will assist in rapidly delivering secure, scalable, and user-centered solutions.

  • Contract Duration: Approximately 4 months (with potential for extension)
  • Environment: Enterprise Public Sector
  • Methodology: Agile / Scrum

Key Responsibilities

  • Development & Configuration: Configure and develop Mendix applications, including microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI components/pages, and relevant integrations/data sources.
  • Business Analysis Collaboration: Assist Business Analysts (BAs) with requirements gathering, system design, application development, testing, and implementation.
  • Process Modeling: Analyze and map existing business processes to define current-state activities, and document future-state business rules, process flow diagrams, and inter-department workflows.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Prepare User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases, coordinate UAT activities with business stakeholders, perform data validation, and execute pre-go-live testing.
  • Agile Participation: Participate in regular sprint planning, design sessions, and status meetings with internal project teams and agency stakeholders. Keep the Scrum Master / Project Manager fully informed of task progress, risks, and action items.
  • Documentation & Support: Create and maintain thorough project documentation across development, implementation, and transition phases. Troubleshoot application issues and assist with prompt defect resolution.

Required & Preferred Skills

  • Platform Expertise: Hands-on experience developing, testing, and deploying applications on Low-Code / No-Code platforms, with Mendix strongly preferred.
  • Agile Environment: Proven experience working within a formal Scrum team (alongside developers, BAs, testers, and product owners) using JIRA for backlog management and defect tracking.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with SQL Server querying, reporting, and diagnostics.
  • Compliance: Solid understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards is highly preferred.
  • Testing Frameworks: Experience utilizing automated testing tools and modern QA methodologies.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent documentation, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to support high-visibility applications under tight timelines.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Low-Code/ No-Code (LC/NC) platforms (Must have on Resume).
