Requirements

Must have:

  • Hands-on experience with low-code and no-code platforms, with Mendix strongly preferred
  • Proven background working in a formal Scrum environment with developers, business analysts, testers, and product owners
  • Proficiency using JIRA for backlog coordination and defect tracking
  • Strong SQL Server querying, reporting, and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with PCI compliance standards is highly preferred
  • Experience with automated testing tools and contemporary quality assurance practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, documentation, and collaboration abilities
  • Must be able to work on the resume
  • Availability to work remotely on MST hours

Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, and test Mendix applications, including microflows, nanoflows, domain models, UI elements, and integrations
  • Partner with business analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, develop applications, test, and support implementation
  • Review and map current business processes and document future-state rules, workflow diagrams, and cross-functional process flows
  • Prepare UAT scenarios, coordinate user testing with business stakeholders, validate data, and complete pre-launch testing
  • Take part in sprint planning, design discussions, and project status meetings with internal teams and agency stakeholders
  • Keep the Scrum Master or Project Manager updated on progress, risks, and action items
  • Produce and maintain detailed documentation throughout development, deployment, and transition phases
  • Diagnose application issues and help resolve defects quickly

Our client is seeking a contract IT low-code/no-code application developer and tester with dedicated Mendix experience for a highly visible, time-sensitive initiative. This is a 100% remote, approximately 4-month contract with potential for extension, supporting an enterprise public sector environment using Agile and Scrum practices. The role is open for a telecommute arrangement, requires MST working hours, and offers a competitive hourly rate.
