About the Job
The main responsibility is underwriting and processing financial requests (data entry) along with some outbound phone responsibilities to verify bank information or address any needed in good order requirements. This team focuses on outbound distributions and internal fund exchanges. The Financial Processor (financial services support representative) must work cohesively as a team to meet established service levels for customers. This is a great opportunity for an individual who enjoys working in a structured, process-driven environment and looks to embrace change and adapt/flex as needed.
Representatives are financial professionals, often working for insurance companies or financial advisors, who assist clients with managing and withdrawing funds from their annuities. They can help understand contract terms, navigate withdrawal options, and understand the tax implications of withdrawals.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience and Skills:
- Transaction processing experience in a fast-paced financial environment strongly preferred.
- Proven experience exhibiting exceptional organizational, follow-through, and multi-tasking skills is required.
- Experience working in an environment where PC use was required at least 50% of the time worked. Experience maneuvering between screens/systems is also required.
- Advanced alpha/numeric data entry skills required with a proven track record of accuracy and meeting high productivity standards.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to partner with others required in order to work in a cohesive team and contribute to an inclusive and positive work environment.
- Proven problem-solving and customer focus.
- Strong written/oral communication skills required.
- Ability to work additional hours as required to meet work volume goals.
- Must embrace responsibility for the identification and implementation of process efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Two to three years of office clerical work experience.
- Work experience with undergraduate studies.
- An engaging, passionate, and driven personality.
- An ability to effectively operate a personal computer with related business software.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for contact with customers.
