The Opportunity

Operating within an exclusive, integrated model that connects pharmaceutical manufacturers directly to the patient experience, you will serve as a vital point of contact for individuals beginning their treatment journey. As a Patient Journey Coordinator, you will provide empathetic support, manage accurate data entry, and educate callers to ensure patients can quickly and confidently obtain their necessary therapies.

Contract Type

Full-Time Assignment with long-term growth potential

Onboarding & Schedule

  • Mandatory Virtual Training: 4--6 weeks | Monday -- Friday, 8:00 AM -- 5:00 PM CST.
  • Operational Shift: Ability to work any assigned 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM -- 7:00 PM CST.
  • Attendance: Strict adherence to company attendance policies is required for both training and active production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Stewardship: Manage patient accounts from initial contact through final approval or denial, ensuring all data is accurate and clear.
  • Referral Management: Create and complete accurate referrals into our centralized platform, staying updated on all procedural changes.
  • Outbound Outreach: Place professional follow-up and confirmation calls to patients and healthcare providers to move applications forward.
  • Communication & Education: Resolve patient questions and concerns regarding their status while providing an empathetic and supportive experience.
  • Documentation Excellence: Transcribe detailed, accurate notes into proprietary software in real-time while conversing with callers.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2--4 years of related customer-facing experience. Previous experience in a call center or professional customer service environment is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance billing methods or general pharmacy operations is a significant plus.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM.
    • Ability to multitask across specific software programs while speaking with patients.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Soft Skills: Professional verbal communication, strong attention to detail, and a "patient-centric" focus.

Remote Work Requirements

You must provide a dedicated, private, and distraction-free workspace. All necessary computer technology and equipment will be provided. Your home office must meet the following internet specifications:

  • Connection: Secure, high-speed Broadband (DSL, Cable, or Fiber). WiFi, Satellite, and Cellular connections are not acceptable.
  • Speeds: 15Mbps Download / 5Mbps Upload / Max 30ms Ping Rate.
  • Setup: Connection must be hardwired (Ethernet) directly to the router.
