About the Opportunity
The Operations Manager role is responsible for overseeing end-to-end service delivery operations within a large-scale technology deployment program. This position acts as a central liaison between customers, field consultants, and internal teams to ensure projects are efficiently managed, staffed, tracked, and completed. The role is critical in maintaining operational accuracy, resource coordination, and communication to support multiple concurrent projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming deployment requests and work orders.
- Build, track, and drive projects through to completion using established systems.
- Schedule resources based on skills, availability, scope, and location.
- Ensure accurate project tracking, revenue capture, and operational reporting.
- Coordinate deployment logistics and pre-deployment activities.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues proactively.
- Confirm completion documentation and support invoicing processes.
- Maintain data integrity across time, cost centers, and project financial records.
- Collaborate daily with customers, partners, finance, staffing, and delivery teams.
- Support operational forecasting related to staffing and scheduling.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years managing operations, service delivery, or projects.
- Experience in IT services, technology deployments, field services, or partner/channel environments preferred.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organization and accuracy.
- Familiarity with work-management or PSA platforms (e.g., Wrike).
- Experience with resource scheduling tools (e.g., Resource Guru).
- Comfortable navigating vendor and partner portals.
- Knowledge of enterprise service delivery systems like SAP Fieldglass or SAP Ariba is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a proactive follow-up approach.
- Self-directed and dependable in a fast-paced environment.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
- Full-time, salaried position.
- Compensation: $80,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
- Fully remote within the United States.
