About the Opportunity:

The Senior Data Analyst plays a key role in delivering actionable business insights through data analysis, visualization, and reporting. This position supports multiple departments by creating dashboards, conducting ad-hoc analyses, and generating recurring performance reports. The role focuses on automating reporting processes, ensuring metric consistency, and proactively identifying trends or issues to guide strategic and operational decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business processes and KPIs to identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities
  • Design and maintain dashboards and scorecards using Power BI or Tableau for department and enterprise KPIs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and deliver clear business-ready outputs
  • Translate data into narratives, reports, and visualizations for diverse audiences
  • Support leadership decisions through data trends, historical context, and predictive indicators
  • Conduct root cause analysis on unexpected performance changes
  • Automate recurring reporting workflows via SQL, data transformations, and BI tools
  • Validate report data through testing, reconciliation, and documentation
  • Work with data engineers to troubleshoot and enhance data pipelines

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data analysis, business reporting, or business intelligence
  • Proven success in developing executive or operational dashboards
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field
  • Advanced skills in Excel and SQL for data querying, cleaning, and analysis
  • Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau for dashboard creation and visualization
  • Strong critical thinking and communication skills for translating data into insights
  • Familiarity with performance metrics, operational reporting, and data validation
  • Preferred certifications in Power BI, Tableau, or SQL
