About Resident

CRAFT MEETS COMFORT. At Resident, we believe your living space shouldn't just look good, it should feel good. That's why we've created a house of brands that focuses on quality materials, timeless style, and most importantly, comfort. Our current brands include the award-winning Nectar, DreamCloud, Awara, and Siena products and we continue to invest in new categories to broaden our offering and address our customer's needs. Since our inception in 2017, Resident has become one of the fastest-growing, scaled, and profitable omnichannel retailers in North America.

At Resident, our staff is dedicated to the values of Excellence, Customer Love, Big Thinking, Inclusivity, and Forward Momentum.

To be considered for this remote opportunity, you must reside and be authorized to work within the United States. Ideal candidates will be able to work during Eastern Stand Time business hours.

About the Role

Resident partners with some of the world's most recognized retail brands to build the data infrastructure that powers modern commerce. As the first Product Analyst dedicated to our parent company, Ashley Furniture, you will play a foundational role in shaping how data drives product and business decisions across Ashley's digital experience.

This is a high-ownership role that blends hands-on analysis with strategic influence. You will define how success is measured, frame the right questions, and ensure data is used effectively to create real business impact.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Own and analyze the end-to-end user funnel — from discovery through to checkout — identifying opportunities to improve conversion, user experience, and revenue performance.
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks for product initiatives and business performance.
  • Lead the design and analysis of A/B tests, including hypothesis definition, metric selection, and impact evaluation.
  • Build and evolve the data foundations — event tracking, core metrics, and data definitions — in partnership with Data Engineering.
  • Develop dashboards and monitoring tools that provide ongoing visibility into product and business performance.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and performance gaps, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations.
  • Serve as a trusted analytical voice within the business — actively shaping strategy and influencing key decisions with well-reasoned, evidence-based narratives.
  • Establish scalable methodologies for measuring product and business performance across online and offline channels.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and global stakeholders to prioritize opportunities and influence roadmap decisions.
  • Apply statistical rigor to experimentation, including power analysis, sample size estimation, and result interpretation.

Skills & Qualifications

  • BSc/BA in a highly quantitative field — Economics, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 3 years of experience as a Product Analyst or Growth Analyst in a B2C environment.
  • Proven experience in large-scale eCommerce or retail environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience analyzing user behavior — funnels, segmentation, cohorts, churn, and LTV.
  • Proven experience designing and analyzing A/B tests at scale.
  • Advanced SQL skills with experience working across large, complex datasets.
  • Strong ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and clear, actionable insights.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to present recommendations persuasively and engage constructively with challenge and debate.
  • Experience working in cross-functional, global team environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Data visualization and reporting tools — Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar.
  • Experience with data infrastructure — event tracking, data pipelines.
  • Python or R for advanced analytics.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis and productivity.

What We Offer

  • Remote-first workplace.
  • Competitive salary ($80,000 - $110,000).
  • Annual bonus potential.
  • Health, Vision & Dental Insurance.
  • HSA company contributions.
  • 401K with company match component.
  • "Take what you need" PTO.
  • Wellness benefits.
  • Online learning resources & trainings.
  • WFH office and cell phone/internet stipend.
  • A FREE MATTRESS plus an awesome Friends and Family discount!
