About the Role
At Retention Express, we're building the future of AI-powered customer support—combining AI Voice, AI Chat, and Live Agents to help businesses reduce churn, improve customer experience, and drive revenue.
We're hiring a Founding AI Solutions Account Executive to be primarily responsible for driving new revenue through closed deals, with continued involvement to ensure customer adoption and expansion.
This is a full-time, remote position for an AI Solutions Account Executive, but it would not be considered a traditional sales role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, providing tailored AI solutions to address customer service needs, providing additional support for the brands, and driving business growth. You'll build a pipeline, close deals, and help shape how AI is used in real-world operations.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and engaging potential clients
- Delivering presentations and building custom AI demos
- Negotiating contracts
- Building CRM systems
- Ensuring the successful implementation of AI and live support solutions
- Handling customer tickets
- Overseeing ongoing account management
- Close collaboration with internal teams to align client expectations and target outcomes
Reports directly to the CEO and works closely with leadership.
Qualifications
- 2--5 years demonstrated success in a full-cycle AE role in SaaS, Telecom, CCaaS, or BPO sales
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Proven ability to close deals and manage a pipeline with proven success in the SMB and Mid Markets
- Sales and Client Relationship Management expertise, including the ability to secure and maintain long-term partnerships
- Understanding of AI-driven technologies and solutions, with the ability to articulate their value to clients in sales calls and when we perform QBR meetings with clients of all sizes.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation skills to effectively engage with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical skills and Business Acumen for identifying client needs and proposing scalable solutions
- Adaptability to a remote work environment and strong organizational skills for managing a large, diverse group of accounts and systems.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, such as Salesforce, and experience in reporting key metrics
- Proven sales or account management experience, preferably in an AI, SaaS, or tech-enabled service company
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field preferred but not required
- Background in customer retention or membership-based industries, or service-based businesses are a plus
Compensation
- Base: $55--$75K
- Uncapped Commission
- OTE: $120K--$140K
- Matching 401K
- Flexible time and PTO
Location
- Remote (U.S.) | Preferred: Atlanta. Open to other Major Metros (Charlotte, Dallas, Nashville, Orlando, Phoenix, Salt Lake City).
