Lifecycle Marketing Specialist (9-Month Contract)
We are seeking a process-minded and detail-oriented Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to join our team for a 9-month embedded engagement. This role is designed for a high-impact executor who thrives in Marketo and Pendo to build scalable automation and customer trust infrastructure.
As an extension of our Lifecycle Marketing team, you will be responsible for reducing campaign backlogs, improving execution velocity, and standing up critical communication frameworks that bridge the gap between product data and customer engagement.
Core Responsibilities
Your weekly focus will be divided into the following key areas:
- Lifecycle Automation & Journeys (35--40%): Build, test, and deploy fully operational customer lifecycle nurture programs.
- Trust Communications (25--30%): Stand up and execute the infrastructure for Customer Trust Communications.
- GTM & Campaign Support (20--25%): Manage the campaign queue and provide go-to-market execution support.
- In-App Messaging (10--15%): Coordinate and execute in-app lifecycle programs using Pendo.
- Optimization & Documentation (5--10%): Standardize Marketo templates, refine QA rigor, and document sustainable processes.
Key Deliverables
- Fully operational customer lifecycle nurture programs across key stages.
- Improved segmentation frameworks tied directly to product and account data.
- Reduced reliance on manual list-building through increased automation.
- Standardized documentation and reporting for all lifecycle initiatives.
- Coordinated email and in-app messaging journeys.
Qualifications & Skills
- Platform Expertise: Marketo is a must. You should be highly comfortable navigating and executing complex builds within the platform.
- In-App Tools: Proven experience with Pendo for in-app messaging.
- Operational Mindset: A proactive approach to identifying infrastructure improvements and a "measure twice, cut once" attitude toward QA.
- Adaptability: Ability to balance speed with precision while navigating cross-functional complexity across Marketing, Customer Success, and External Affairs.
- Data-Driven: Comfortable working with account data to build sophisticated segmentation.
