Position

Mid-level Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master

Remote: Preference for candidates in the Raleigh/Durham, NC area.

Duration: Contract to hire (C2C NOT AVAILABLE / No 3rd parties)

Overview

A growing healthcare technology company is seeking a mid-level Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to help coordinate software delivery efforts across product, engineering, operations, and customer implementation teams.

The company develops cloud-based platforms and data-driven solutions used to support clinical and operational workflows within regulated healthcare environments. Their products involve software configuration, reporting, integrations, and customer-specific implementations that require close coordination across technical and business teams.

This position is best suited for someone who is early-to-mid career in project delivery leadership and looking to grow into a larger ownership role over time. The team is looking for a hands-on coordinator and facilitator - someone who enjoys organizing moving parts, improving team processes, and helping technical teams execute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This is not a highly strategic enterprise PMO role. Instead, it is a strong opportunity for someone who wants exposure to Agile delivery, customer implementations, product enhancement coordination, and cross-functional leadership inside a growing company.

While the role is remote, the company has a preference for candidates located in the Raleigh/Durham area for occasional in-person collaboration and team meetings.

What You'll Work On

  • Coordinate timelines, priorities, and deliverables across engineering, QA, operations, and business teams
  • Help support customer platform deployments and implementation activities
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure required features, reports, integrations, and system updates are delivered on schedule
  • Assist with backlog coordination, sprint planning, and Agile team ceremonies
  • Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and action items across multiple workstreams
  • Help improve Agile processes, Jira usage, and delivery organization as the company continues to mature operationally
  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support a collaborative and accountable delivery culture focused on continuous improvement

What They're Looking For

  • 3-6 years of experience in Project Coordination, Scrum Master, Technical PM, Business Analyst, or related delivery-focused roles
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience working with software development or technical delivery teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Comfortable coordinating across multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities
  • Experience using Jira or similar Agile project tracking tools
  • Ability to identify risks, ask questions, and help remove delivery blockers
  • Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and grow

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in SaaS or software product environments
  • Exposure to customer implementations or onboarding projects
  • Experience in healthcare technology, life sciences, or other regulated industries
  • Technical background in software development, QA, or systems analysis
  • Experience working in smaller or growing organizations

Why This Opportunity

  • Opportunity to grow into broader delivery and product leadership responsibilities
  • Exposure to both internal product development and customer-facing implementation work
  • Collaborative environment with visibility across technical and operational teams
  • Ability to help shape and improve Agile delivery processes
  • Fast-paced environment where strong contributors can quickly expand their impact
