The Senior Accountant will oversee critical financial processes, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and provide meaningful insights to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Assist with preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
- Support internal and external audits
- Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights to leadership
- Partner cross-functionally to support accurate and timely reporting
- Assist in developing and improving accounting processes and procedures
- Oversee inventory accounting, including tracking, valuation, and reporting
- Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and transfers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA is preferred but not required
- 5--7 years of progressive general accounting experience
- Full-cycle accounting, accruals, account reconciliation and preparation and analysis of financial statements
- Experience with inventory and fixed asset accounting
- Strong Excel skills (including formulas and data analysis)
- Familiarity with Power BI and SAP is an advantage.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment
