OneRTX Process & Systems Transformation Program
The OneRTX program aims to harmonize key business processes, tools, metrics, and reporting across RTX, facilitating the migration of capabilities into standardized ERP systems. RTX has selected SAP's S/4HANA and Business Technology Platform (BTP) as its future ERP system. The program has largely completed its strategic definition, design, and blueprinting phases and is now entering the build and support stages.
Exciting Opportunity: SAP ABAP Full Stack Developer (Remote)
This is a hands-on, development-intensive role focused on building, enhancing, and optimizing applications using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP) and Fiori application frameworks. Ideal for passionate software developers who enjoy problem-solving and delivering scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and support application solutions for S/4HANA ABAP, ABAP Cloud, SAP RAP, and Fiori apps to meet business and operational needs.
- Implement clean core extensibility models, including key-user, developer, and side-by-side approaches.
- Support the migration of multiple large ECC systems into a unified S/4HANA system.
- Contribute to establishing enterprise-wide standards for application development and integration, emphasizing S/4HANA clean core development practices.
- Analyze and enhance the performance of new and existing programs.
- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including documentation and project deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- University Degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proven experience in SAP ABAP development and SAP projects.
- Familiarity with clean core extension concepts (in-app extensibility, developer extensibility, side-by-side extensibility).
- Proficiency in ABAP 7.5 (Clean ABAP and Modern ABAP).
- Strong ABAP Objects and general object-oriented development skills.
- Experience with ABAP Code Pushdown.
- Knowledge of RAP (Restful ABAP Programming), including queries, managed and unmanaged BOs.
- Familiarity with EML (Entity Markup Language).
- Experience with ABAP CDS.
- Knowledge of SAP Workflow.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience upgrading SAP ECC to S/4 HANA.
- Experience with UI5, Fiori & Fiori Elements.
- Experience with BTP Platform & Cloud Foundry.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript.
- Understanding of clean core concepts and techniques.
Role Details

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $86,800 - $165,200 USD annually.
