The Role

As Rue's foundational team recruiting member, you will play a critical role in shaping one of the company's highest priorities: building the exceptional growth team that powers everything we do. You will own the entire recruiting lifecycle, from sourcing and engaging candidates to managing interviews and driving offers to close for our early-stage hires.

We are looking for a proactive and independent self-starter who is energized by owning processes end-to-end.

You Will:

  • Partner with Rue Four's founders and senior engineering to define hiring needs and ideal candidate profiles.
  • Get a strong understanding of our company culture, values, and vision, translating that to potential candidates.
  • Source and engage candidates passionately, through referrals, outbound, and creative tactics.
  • Engage with a high bar of candidates, vet and screen them, and manage the interviewing and hiring process from start to finish.
  • Contribute to onboarding, employer branding, and candidate experience projects as needed.
  • Lead compensation conversations and negotiation.
  • Do whatever it takes to hire the best candidates and deliver a great interviewing experience.
  • Track recruiting metrics and performance to continuously improve the recruiting processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in full-cycle recruiting.
  • Ability to quickly understand a product or market you might not be familiar with.
  • Strong instincts for sourcing and outbound; you treat top-of-funnel like a sales motion.
  • Relentless follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to transmit passion and seek out passionate, curious, driven, and hungry humans.
  • B2B SaaS, AI, marketplace, or Fintech experience is a plus.

Working with us

Rue Four is based in New York, with our full team working out of a beautiful and spacious office in Hudson Square.

  • Role Type: Contract to hire.
  • Schedule: 3-5 days/week in office.
  • Compensation: 100k-140k or contract to hire.
