Job description
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and conducting user research studies (interviews, surveys, usability tests)
- Recruit and coordinate participants for research sessions
- Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user data
- Support the creation of research reports, summaries, and presentations
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to share insights
- Help develop user personas, journey maps, and research artifacts
- Maintain research documentation and repositories
- Stay updated on UX research methods and industry trends
Required Qualifications
- Must be currently residing in the United States
- Valid U.S. work authorization (student visa with work eligibility, citizen, or authorized work permit holder)
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- Basic understanding of UX research methods and principles
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics)
- Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or basic statistical tools)
- Knowledge of design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
- Previous internship or academic project experience in UX research
Work Environment
- Fully remote internship with flexible scheduling
- Must be available to work within U.S. business hours (flexible for academic schedules)
