Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and conducting user research studies (interviews, surveys, usability tests)
  • Recruit and coordinate participants for research sessions
  • Collect, organize, and analyze qualitative and quantitative user data
  • Support the creation of research reports, summaries, and presentations
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to share insights
  • Help develop user personas, journey maps, and research artifacts
  • Maintain research documentation and repositories
  • Stay updated on UX research methods and industry trends

Required Qualifications

  • Must be currently residing in the United States
  • Valid U.S. work authorization (student visa with work eligibility, citizen, or authorized work permit holder)
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • Basic understanding of UX research methods and principles
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with research tools (e.g., UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics)
  • Experience with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets, or basic statistical tools)
  • Knowledge of design tools (Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Previous internship or academic project experience in UX research

Work Environment

  • Fully remote internship with flexible scheduling
  • Must be available to work within U.S. business hours (flexible for academic schedules)
