- Director, Strategic Initiatives
The Director of Strategic Partner Initiatives will lead the execution of Sage's highest-priority strategic partnerships and enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment between business objectives and operational delivery. Initially focused on driving successful execution of the AWS partnership, this role will serve as the central coordination point across product, technology, go-to-market, finance, legal, and partner teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the critical link between strategic partnership objectives and operational execution, ensuring alignment across business priorities, resources, and delivery plans.
- Establish and lead governance frameworks, operating cadences, and executive reporting processes to drive accountability and successful execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Ensure commitments made to strategic partners are translated into measurable commercial, product, and go-to-market outcomes that advance Sage's growth objectives.
- Lead large-scale strategic initiatives that require executive-level stakeholder management, disciplined program leadership, and influence across diverse business functions.
- Drive alignment among senior leaders and cross-functional teams, proactively managing dependencies, risks, and competing priorities to achieve program objectives.
- Build trusted relationships with executive sponsors, internal stakeholders, and external partners to accelerate decision-making and remove barriers to execution.
- Develop scalable execution models and best practices that can be leveraged across future strategic partnerships and enterprise transformation initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience leading large-scale, cross-functional programs within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of partner business models, including channel, alliance, and ecosystem-driven go-to-market strategies.
- Proven ability to influence and manage senior stakeholders across multiple functions, driving alignment and execution.
- Prior experience with a large tech company and/or top-tier management consulting firm.
