Purpose and Objective

SAP America, Inc. seeks an individual to contribute to the aligned and consistent design and architecture of a software product, part of a product, or a specific architecture subject including integration and software lifecycle.

Expectations and Tasks

• Evaluate architecture risks and contribute to effort estimation of backlog items.
• Translate product requirements into technical requirements and system language.
• Drive alignment of designs in accordance with the defined architecture including Architecture Concept Document, Guidelines, and Standards.
• Identify opportunities for reuse of software parts.
• Collaborate with the developers and architects of the product team and implementation teams.
• Contribute to all tasks of implementation team and product team.
• Support product owner by ensuring architecture feasibility, readiness and compliance.
• Monitor and implement design and architecture concepts together with implementation team.
• Coach and consult implementation teams on software engineering aspects.
• Implement software parts.
• Identify improvements and innovations in development processes and methodologies.

Education and Occupational Experience

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience

Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:

• JavaScript
• jQuery
• HTML5
• CSS3
• SAP Fiori

Experience must involve two (2) years in the following:

• Node.js
• ABAP

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $146,078 - $180,576. The targeted combined range for this position is $146,078 - $205,200. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon education, skills, experience, scope of the role, and location.
