Purpose and Objective
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Development Expert at our Newtown Square, PA location to be responsible for the success of the Cloud based CRM solution by translating business requirements into solution designs, guiding teams in implementation, and development.
Expectations and Tasks
- Support existing and new customers to resolve issues, understand root causes and provide solutions.
- Resolve issues through methodical customer interaction, and handle customer escalations.
- Perform root cause analysis, arrive at solutions, implementation, and guide the team in understanding requirements and the solution to be implemented by effective documentation of solution, design, reviews and testing.
- Responsible for feature development with focus on scalable efficient design, building solution blueprint documents, coding, implementation, testing and quality assurance of complex product features.
- Perform product design, modeling, implementation, and testing.
- Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and mentor team members.
Education and Occupational Experience
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and seven (7) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience
Experience must involve five (5) years in the following:
- Object oriented development including ABAP, ABAP OO, BADI, BAPI, Data Dictionary, MDRS, and MDRO;
- Design, develop, and support SAP Cloud for customer;
- ByDesign Application Studio, including SAP C4C BODL, ABSL, and Web Service;
- C4C performance tuning, storage, or memory optimizations;
- Root cause analysis, solution design, and implementation based on customer escalations;
- Review and recommend improvements to customer's C4C migration plan;
- OData, REST, and SOAP; and
- Implement SCRUM and AGILE methodologies.

Compensation Range Transparency
The annual base salary range for this position is $146,078 - $229,682. The targeted combined range for this position is $164,700 - $280,100. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
